SoonFasting Review: Is It a Worth App for Intermittent Fasting?

SoonFasting Review: Obesity is a worldwide disease due to the availability of many unhealthy food options and lack of physical exercise, and losing weight is challenging.

SoonFasting claims that there is a solution that can provide sustainable results through a fasting educational and tracking app with motivation & interaction enhancement that only needs to follow the personalized plan tailored to every user based on AI analysis and customization. Most significantly, The personalized plan does not enforce stringent meaningless dieting and strenuous overloading exercise during intermittent fasting.

We put SoonFasting to the test to see whether it can support us in developing short-term and long-term weight loss plans to determine whether it truly lives up to its name.

How we tested SoonFasting

We tested SoonFasting for one month to see if the program could help alleviate weight gain caused by aging and decreased physical activity. We also want to reshape unhealthy habits that get in the way of our long-term health goals, like walking more and drinking less.

How does SoonFasting work

SoonFasting is a fasting educational app and an eating tracker that supports users in leading a new, healthy lifestyle. Due to people’s lack of self-control, motivation, and drive to attain them, SoonFasting utilizes various motivation & interaction enhancements to change individuals’ perception, cognition, and behavior toward intermittent fasting for long-term success to help users develop better habits and take positive behavioral changes to improve their relationship with food and exercise, thereby achieving weight loss and sustainably eating goals.

This is achieved through a comprehensive system, including the onboarding process, personalized plan generation, health trackers, behavior reminders, daily motivational articles, visualization reports, and coaching programs, which appeal to many busy professionals who can follow the fasting regimen generated by the app simply.

Onboarding experience of SoonFasting

There is a detailed onboarding process to provide a tailored Intermittent fasting regimen. It starts with a self-guided quiz and then generates a tailored regimen based on AI analysis and customization. Thankfully, the process doesn’t take too long. I believe that the product team has made a balance or compromise to ensure a comfortable user experience and guarantees the relative scientific of the final tailored fasting regimen to the greatest extent.

Let’s talk about the self-guided quiz. It starts with two options – “Get healthy” and “Lose weight”. There is a set of corresponding self-quiz for different user choices. I chose “Lose Weight,” which most people care about. The self-guided quiz collects physical factors like age, gender, height, and weight, as well as lifestyle factors such as dietary intake, sleep quality, and exercise frequency. Other factors about your disease history like cardiovascular disease and diabetes, goal setting like your target weight, and personal will like how long you want to achieve this goal and your obstacles. Finished the self-guided quiz, the app will integrate all dimensions and generate a tailored regimen.

For myself, the physical factors, lifestyle, disease history, goal setting, and personal will, are taken into account synthetically, and the tailored regimen generated by AI analysis and customization is practical to me.

How to use the SoonFasting app

SoonFasting has differentiation strategies and unique features, but it still has similarities with competitors. But on the whole, I found the SoonFasting application user-friendly and inspiring, making it one of the more enjoyable and healthy applications I have tried.

I listed some features of the app people might use the most.

I found that SoonFasting breaks down a long-term plan into simple daily tasks which are easy to follow. The checklist is entirely consistent with my concept – little by little, step by step, small actions add to great success.

My favorite is the coaching program. It’s designed for most people, even if you are a person who knows nothing about intermittent fasting. So, No matter the beginner’s plans, weight loss challenges, or healthy eating habits, you can find various coaching programs on the app.

What surprised me most was the one-on-one coach consultation. I have never seen such a service on other competing products. I tried to leave messages with the coach and asked her about intermittent fasting. Indeed, within a few hours, I received a targeted and practical reply. From my personal experience and the language organization of the reply, that end is a real dietitian.

Turn to Tracker. When I first noticed the tracker, it was no different from other products. It seems to be a standard configuration, and almost product has one. Fortunately, SoonFasting does more than that. It integrates data with Healthkit (a health app) to keep track of your daily activities like steps, water intake, and weight. It also provides easy-to-follow tips and practical insights. The evidence-backed content and practical tips based on your habits can help you build your eating habit and achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Some people may care about recipes. SoonFasting does provide some hands-on recipes, including all recent popular food trends such as the Mediterranean diet and keto, which is very helpful for most people who want a proper diet during intermittent fasting. But I have formed a fixed eating habit so I won’t rely much on it.

The last one is motivation and interaction triggers. The process of reducing fat is painful and lonely. Fortunately, the product team has considered many factors to help users. You can invite your friends to go through the whole period of intermittent fasting with you, and you can review the lessons they have learned about intermittent fasting. It’s suitable for couples or families.

Comparison with other programs

SoonFasting does not enforce strenuous overloading exercise compared to workout apps during intermittent fasting. You only need to follow the tailored regimen for a period. You can achieve your ideal weight. Most people more readily accept this gentle and gradual way.

Unlike self-led programs, SoonFasting keeps users on track toward daily goals with push notifications and checklists. You don’t need to be knowledgeable about intermittent fasting. Follow simple daily tasks, step by step, to achieve your goal, which is easy.

Generally speaking, SoonFasting does not limit what you must eat or give up for weight loss and does not let you follow strict rules. But it requires a certain degree of self-discipline. You must be very clear that if you lack perseverance, no matter what program you choose, you cannot succeed.

The pros and cons of the SoonFasting app

Here is an overview of what I discovered when analyzing the SoonFasting app. I separated it into what I found to be helpful and what I found to be lacking. This is only the tip of the review because the SoonFasting app includes numerous features that wouldn’t fit in the pros and cons list.

Here are the Pros.

  • Competitive subscription price. My first consideration is the price factor. As an application applicable to the vast majority of people, the subscription price of SoonFasting is the lowest I have seen. At this point, I think highly of it.
  • The great coaching program and the one-on-one coach consultation which is my favorite. The nutritionist consulting service far exceeds that of competitive products, which is why I strongly recommend SoonFasting.
  • Excellent personalized experience. SoonFasting combines user experience and scientificity no matter in terms of entry experience or daily reports. And extensive features are very personalized and designed exceptionally also brings science to you and justifies fasting.
  • Tons of easy-to-read content, including educational articles, user stories, and tutorials, to help you understand fasting and its benefits. Offers Recipes and snack recommendations so that you don’t overeat or compromise fasting.

The cons are as follows.

  • Compared with competitors, multilingual versions are not supported. Currently, only the English version is supported, which will make it difficult for non-English speakers to adapt.
  • Some of the other apps offer a free version for users to try out the services before paying. SoonFasting does not provide trial, which is a pity and may discourage some people.
  • Although there are many innovations, as the fasting methods tend to mimic one another, there are some similarities with other competitors.

SoonFasting cost

Here is the current subscription price: $5.99 weekly, $19.99 quarterly, and $35.99 yearly. As I mentioned earlier, the current pricing of SoonFasting is the lowest among similar products, perhaps due to the market strategy to cater to more ordinary people, even those who do not know about intermittent fasting. The low price lowers the threshold for most people to experience, even though SoonFasting does not provide a trial version.

Our test results with SoonFasting

After using SoonFasting for one month,  I lost 8 kilos. This is not a significant achievement, but I achieved it without reducing my diet and increasing my exercise during my fasting period.

Now I feel better about changes in my body and behavior. I think that’s because I strictly complete each daily task according to the tailored regimen. The tailored regimen changed my favorite foods more wisely and moved towards healthier eating and exercise habits. It makes my life more disciplined and balances my eating habits and sleep better.

Is SoonFasting worth it?

First of all, I don’t recommend people with poor self-discipline to use it, because these people always think that they can lose weight successfully by relying on a tool. My advice is for people who are prepared to put in an effort. I recommend this product based on all the factors, such as price, features, and results. It helps us develop healthy living habits through diet advice, fitness advice, improving sleep habits, product incentives, and other measures, so weight loss becomes very natural.
