Knowing why it’s good to make mistakes is a key to happy living!

Reasons Making Mistakes is Actually Good for You

1. Making mistakes is a part of life

There are a lot of good and bad aspects of life and making mistakes is among them! I know it’s not the best part, but it’s certainly unavoidable. You need to learn how to deal with the fact that life is all about learning and you cannot learn without making mistakes!

2. You learn from mistakes

Another great reason why making mistakes is good for you is that you are able to learn from them. However, you can only learn from mistakes after you admit you’ve made them. I know making mistakes is not so pleasant, but it potentially useful. Since we’re human, and they’re also inevitable.

3. We all make mistakes

If you think that you’re the only person who makes so many mistakes, I can prove you wrong! I have often asked myself “why do I constantly make many mistakes?” But when I started talking to my friends and coworkers about it and I learned that I am not alone. So don’t freak out if you get that bad grade on your test, or if you make mistakes at work. Remember there’s at least one person in the world who’s made the same mistakes.

4. You are only human

Everyone is unique and special in their own way! And mistakes are a part of being human! If you’ve never made any mistake in your life, then there’s something wrong with you. Making mistakes is always bound to happen and it actually good for you!

5. You can always try again and make it even better

Being able to try again and make it better is one of the best reasons why making mistakes is actually good for you. Perhaps you screamed at your boyfriend yesterday and you have not talked since. It was a big mistake to scream at him but you can try and fix it! Saying that you are sorry for screaming is a sign that you are learning! And when you get into an argument with your sweetheart again, you can apply what you’ve learned from your mistakes.

6. It’s your push to making yourself all that you can be

Whenever I do, it always makes me want to do that better the next time! Making mistakes is my push to making myself all that I can be. When I was younger I watched the movie “Meet the Robinsons”, and the main message was “keep moving forward.” And this always reminds me that even if I make thousands of mistakes, I can have thousand chances to make it even better.

7. It helps you to find out who you are

It’s important to know that what others think is a mistake may differ from what actually you think. You should figure out on your own. I’m not saying that if others think that jumping off the roof is a huge mistake, you must try it out just to figure out. However, trying a cake that your friend doesn’t like is a great way to find out whether you like it or not. Your friend may think it’s a mistake, but you may really like that cake!

I know how difficult it can be to accept mistakes. But making mistakes is one of the most important parts of living a healthy life. If something doesn’t turn out the way you want it to, there is no reason to be so hard on yourself. Remember you can always do it better! Are you afraid of making mistakes?
