Benjamin Franklin, one of the world’s greatest scholars, politicians and inventors and credited as being foundational to the roots of American values and character, a marriage of the practical and democratic Puritan values of thrift, hard work, education, community spirit, self-governing institutions, and opposition to authoritarianism both political and religious, with the scientific and tolerant values of the Enlightenment, had once made a list of 13 virtues that he valued but did not possess. What Ben did was work on only one virtue at a time, noting when he messed up, and when he succeeded in using the virtue. He made turning himself into a person who possessed that virtue his mission and did not worry about any of the other 12 until he had mastered the first one.

Ultimately, with his determined efforts, he conquered them all. And he will forever be remembered as one of the greatest men who ever lived. It is very simple to accomplish his achievements! And sorry… Because so many people go to their graves never conquering even one of their major hurdles in life, settling for mediocrity.

Can you kindly enumerate why was Ben Franklin’s growth plan so complicated that you or… well, practically anyone else couldn’t use it? Couldn’t even someone with no common sense or potential for any more than pushing a broom eight hours a day go after just one goal at a time with passion?

All wisdom and all virtues already exist within you in perfect form. Vices and imbalances such as cowardice, weakness and clumsiness are caused by not accepting the various aspects of yourself. Virtues in your everyday life can be developed by simply accepting the various aspects of yourself and allowing them back into your life. You can do it by taking following steps:

1. Be calm and relaxed in every situation.

2. Eliminate habits and self limiting beliefs by dealing with their root cause.

3. Improve intelligence.

4. Increase your capability in any field of endeavor.

5. Increase physical and mental vitality.

6. Understand yourself and those around you.

7. Improve your character. Etc.

Be Happy – Accomplish Your Dreams.
