    Spending a lot of time on the computer? Staring at a screen all day long can take a serious toll on your vision. Make sure to give your eyes a break as you’re working.

    Make sure that your computer isn’t placed too far away — less than two feet away is preferable. Reduce the brightness on your screen and make sure to blink often.

    Finally, if you’re working for long periods of time, follow the 20/20/20 rule: take 20 seconds every 20 minutes to look at an object that’s approximately 20 feet away.

    You’ll also want to make sure that your overall health is in good condition. Conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure can take a massive toll on your eyesight.
