How to Get Pale Skin

Pale skin is increasingly becoming a trend, and many people want to achieve it. However, in attempts to get pale skin fast, people have found themselves using some chemical-based products that end up worsening the condition of their skin.

There are easier and more natural ways for you to become paler without having any negative effects on your skin.

  1. Avoid UV exposure

Being exposed to direct sunlight is one of the major things that causes the skin to have a dark pigment due to the production of more melanin. If you intend to make skin paler, try as much as you can to avoid going out to the sun.

If you have to go outside, stick to the shade, cover yourself with an umbrella, and put on protective clothing like a hat and long sleeve pants and shirts. You should also avoid places with concrete, sand, water, and other surfaces because they bounce off the UV rays.

  2. Sunscreen

Always have sunscreen on you, even when indoors. Buy a sunscreen that protects you from UVB (sun rays that burn the skin) and UVA (sun rays that age the skin). Choose a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) between 30 and 50.

You can have sunscreen as a lotion or spray, and do not be afraid of doing too much. Not only will it help you get pale skin fast, but it will also ensure you do not get any wrinkles or fine lines.

  3. Drink enough water

Keeping hydrated will not only help with your digestion but also helps maintain healthy and glowing skin. It will help reduce the dry and flaky skin, which makes your skin look darker and reddish.

  4. Exfoliate and moisturize

Exfoliation helps in removing in-build dirt and dead skin, which leaves you’re your skin cleaner, fresher and smoother. However, ensure you do not overdo it because that may strip your skin of all its natural oil and moisture, leaving it dry and flaky.

Moisturizing is also another trick that will help you become paler because it eliminates all the dry and flaky, leaving you with glowing and more radiant skin.

Ensure to moisturize every time you wash your face and do it while your face is still wet to lock in the moisture that boosts your skin complexion.

You can try natural moisturizers like aloe Vera, coconut oil, or petroleum jelly, or you can do commercial moisturizers but ensure they do not have any harsh ingredients like alcohol, which could cause irritation, redness, and breakouts.

  5. Get enough sleep

Sleep helps the body relax and promotes better blood circulation to the whole body. Not getting enough sleep will leave your skin looking wrinkly, not to mention the dark circles under your eyes.

  6. Treat with juice from citric fruits

Citric fruits like lemons, oranges, and limes have high amounts of vitamin C that, once applied to your skin, not only helps exfoliate the skin but also gets rid of any dark marks.

You can squeeze out a citric fruit and apply the juice to your face using a clean piece of cloth or cotton, and let it sit for 10-20 minutes, after which you should rinse with cold water. Do not use this over once a week because it may irritate your skin and cause redness.

Alternatively, you can use an orange peel face mask. Grind a small number of fresh orange peels and mix them with cold milk until they form a fairly consistent face mask.

Apply this mask on your face and let it sit for 10-20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water. You can use this twice a week for better results. Applying a mixture of lemon juice and honey on the skin will also help make the skin paler.

  7. Wash your face twice a day

Use a gentle cleanser to wash your face every morning and at night. That will help get rid of all the dirt and sweat that had accumulated on the skin clogging the pores.

Ensure to use lukewarm water as hot water may cause redness and remove all the natural oils and moisture from your skin, leaving dry and scaly.

  8. Yogurt

Yogurt has high amounts of B12, which naturally lightens the skin. You can use the yogurt alone by applying a small amount of plain yogurt to your skin, letting it sit for ten minutes, and then rinsing it off with cold or lukewarm water.

You can also mix two teaspoons of plain yogurt with a teaspoon of honey to make a paste. Apply the paste on your face and neck and let it sit for 15 minutes, after which you should rinse off with either cold or lukewarm water.

  9. Tomato

Tomatoes have lycopene, which protects your skin from the sun and helps in the reduction of sun tan immediately. Make tomato pulp and mix it with lemon juice to make a paste. Apply the paste on your face and neck and let it sit for 20 minutes, and rinse off with cold water.

Getting the perfect pale skin takes time, and it is key to remain consistent on these tips. Also, look out for any negative effects on any of the methods and stop using that product.
