How to stay healthy in a hectic schedule : Most of us do not have time to follow a proper healthy lifestyle in the midst of our hectic routines. Neglecting health and improper care can lead to a lot of problems. Therefore, it is mandatory to find time for yourself and adopt habits that can help lead a healthy lifestyle.
To ease out your burden, here are some ways through which you can stay healthy even when your calendar is packed, and you are super busy:
Stay healthy in a hectic schedule
Make “Morning Yoga” A Must:
No matter how much busy you are, you have to sleep at night. Right? Even though you are pulling all-nighters or are sleeping late, you need to be refreshed in the morning. This is why, make it mandatory to pull over some yoga moves to ease out your posture.
Not only will yoga make you feel relaxed, but it will also be a good substitute for exercise. At least spend 30 minutes every morning on yoga. You will feel fresh and active all day.
Healthy Food on the Go:
It has been found that most of the people gain weight when they have packed schedules. It means that you are more prone to eat junk, fast food and take outs. These temptations will make you gain lots of fat with flabby body.
In order to get rid of excessive eating, keep your pantry well stocked at all times. You should have fresh and healthy foods; hire a help who can cook them for you. To keep hunger pangs at bay, keep mini packets of fruits, which you can eat from time to time. Doing so will also help you resist the temptation to eat out or order.
Stay Hydrated:
It is extremely necessary for you to stay hydrated throughout the day. With as hectic routine as yours, it is mandatory to not get yourself so worked up. Keep a water bottle with you throughout the day and keep on refilling it. We can’t emphasize how much important staying hydrated is, so just keep on drinking water at regular intervals.
Proper Sleep:
If you want to stay refreshed, vigilant and attentive at work, you need to be properly rested. It doesn’t matter how much busy you are, there is no excuse for not sleeping well. A good night’s sleep is the first pillar of staying healthy. You must plan out your sleeping time in the midst of all the work mounting on your desk. Believe me; some extra sleep will make you work faster than ever.
Exercise and Massages:
Learn some effective cardio moves or take body relaxing massage from time to time. Even when you do yoga, if you are sitting on a desk throughout the day, your body needs to relax. If you can’t go to the gym, WALK. Instead of travelling through car, walk to your workplace. Similarly, instead of the elevator, take the stairs all the way up. You muscles will stretch and relax this way.
You can also invest in a good massage chair recliner if you want to ease your stiff body every now and then.
